Welcome!

 At Green Acres Aussies, our  #1 mission is to perfect the Australian Shepherd breed in every way. Behavior, confirmation and "correctness", health, and every way that makes Aussies special. We start with heritage and foundational breed lines that are registered with both ASCA and AKC. Green Acres produces a balanced dog , combining working and show lines.  In our breeding program we have multiple Certified Therapy dogs and those competing in Rally.  Pups have also gone on to become Service dogs,  and compete in scent work, frisbee and more. 

 We recently relocated from the Allegheny mountains of PA to central North Carolina. We are still very dedicated with in house transport options with one of us going back to our roots at given times to bring back our puppies to our awaiting families.  

Each dog is evaluated on many levels before entering the breeding program, including health testing, exceeding breed standard, personality, and whether or not it will mesh well with potential mates.  From there, they will put in the work to receive multiple titles, including but not limited to: Canine Good Citizen and various levels of trick and performance.  Our dogs eat better than we do and are well loved!

When it comes time to breed, pregnant mothers are given extra care round the clock. Pups are evaluated from birth and Puppy Culture used to make them fully prepared to incorporate into your family. Each potential family is rigorously screened to make sure they are prepared for a Green Acres Aussie, and each pup matched according to personality that will best fit.
