 Jennifer at Green Acres Aussies is one of the best breeders we’ve come to know. The time, energy, and commitment she has to her dogs and the puppies she raises is incredible.  From birth to adult you have a forever support not just for your dog but for yourself as well. She is always there no matter the problem. She truly cares about all her puppies and their well being.  We have the pleasure and honor of having four of Jennifers dogs. Jet is sweet, cuddly, gentle, athletic, smart, well behaved, strong, goofy, protector of his pack, and just 70+ lbs of love and fluff. 

 Jennifer is not just a breeder. She is a mother. Every single pup from Green Acres Aussies is individually cared for and loved with all of her heart. And the caring doesn’t stop after your pup comes home. She will remain available to you and your pup whenever you need. My husband and I, after only ever having one pup before, now have four of Jennifer’s Aussies.  She has never been unavailable for advice, guidance, training tips, or even the occasional shoulder. Green Acres Aussies begins and ends from the heart. Jennifer’s love and caring for each of her pups and what does as a breeder is evident in every way.  We have Stella Blue, Luna, Apollo and Beau Soleil. 

When I first met Jennifer and the Figueroa family, they had two beautiful, well trained and very loved Aussies. I always loved dogs, but unfortunately never owned one. After extensive research, the look and personality of the Australian Shepherd made them my favorite breed. Jennifer quickly expressed her passion for the breed to me, and showed me all that went into her choice of breeding pair. Our old man Ruger is first generation from Rowdy x Zoey. Jennifer went above and beyond working with him on training before we purchased him, and also worked with me to make sure I knew how to handle the breed and his specific personality and to continue his training. Ruger is an amazing and adaptable family dog for our family. He's great with our two kids, incredibly smart, loyal, athletic, focused, and protective of our family.  We have since added Luna, his great-niece,  who blends amazingly with him and our family. 

I have witnessed Jennifer's dedication and attention to detail through each and every step of the breeding process. From making sure her breeding stock have excellent confirmation and uphold the highest standards of the breed, to making sure they are healthy and at a good point in life to breed, to making sure the bitch is pampered and given a quality and complex diet while pregnant and nursing, to making sure the whelping box and play area are kept immaculate, to giving the pups age- appropriate enrichment, stimulation, socialization and training, to observing personalities and making sure placement is perfect for both the family and pup. She is honest, hardworking, passionate and dedicated to breeding. I couldn't imagine a better breeder. She is an asset to furthering the integrity of Australian Shepherds.

 Our experience working with Jenn at Green Acres Aussies has been wonderful from the moment I happened upon her group on Facebook. Jenn truly cares about her dogs and puppies. She is a well rounded and thorough breeder. We enjoy her knowledge and use of the Fairoaks lines in her program and the versatility she produces with these lines and others. The multi-generations she has in her program is super fun to watch as well.   All of Jenn’s dogs are gorgeous but there is so much more behind those looks!  Our puppy, Archer (HoneyxCody), is a super versatile little man. He looooves water and swimming, especially now because it’s so warm, but he swims in all conditions. We love hiking with him and get compliments wherever we go with him. He is energetic, loving, a cuddle bug, a great “little” brother to his older three aussie siblings, and a smartie pants that is eager to please. He is a well rounded dog, which is reflective of Jenn’s great breeding program. I think Archer could do just about anything we ask him to and are hoping to get him involved in agility soon bc he loves jumping in the air and is quite an acrobat.   Jenn has been there for any questions or concerns we’ve had along the way, and there isn’t a doubt in my mind that she will continue to be a friend to us as Archer grows and we acquire more of her puppies - I seriously want puppies from every single one of her litters. I’m addicted. We can’t say enough good things about Jenn, her program, and her Aussies. They are absolutely the best and we’re so lucky to be able to call her our breeder.
